Introduced in 2011, The Clear + Brilliant® laser is a unique skincare treatment that uses fractional laser technology to help prevent* the early signs of aging, help maintain a youthful look, and help improve the overall appearance of skin. Also, Clear + Brilliant® treatments are a great option to help prepare for events where you may want to look your best. Clear + Brilliant® treatments have the following benefits:

  • Minimal downtime
  • Excellent for all skin types
  • Year-round procedures
  • Treatments with Clear + Brilliant Perméa® increase the skin’s permeability, which can help increase the absorption of your skincare products
  • Complement other aesthetic procedures**
  • Helps to improve fine lines
  • Helps to minimize the appearance of pores
  • Helps to boost collagen
  • Helps to improve skin tone
  • Helps to improve appearance of pigment

Each of the Clear + Brilliant® laser treatment offerings serve a unique purpose. The Clear + Brilliant Perméa® laser treatment helps offer visible enhancements in tone, radiance, and permeability, while the Original Clear + Brilliant® laser treatment is optimized to help improve your skin’s texture.

Complete Treatment combines both the Original and Perméa® handpieces in one treatment session. With the option to use two different handpieces in one treatment session, you and your doctor can customize treatments to match your skincare needs and treatment goals. Combining both treatments creates an optimized treatment to help you get the results you are looking for. Clear + Brilliant® Complete Treatments can help prevent* the early signs of aging, help maintain youthful radiant skin, and help improve the overall appearance of skin.

Most patients describe a pricking feeling and an increased sensation of heat during the treatment.

  • For the Original Clear + Brilliant® laser treatment, topical anesthetic ointment may be applied before the procedure.

Afterward, you may have mild redness and swelling, which typically subside within a few hours.

  • For the Clear + Brilliant® Perméa® laser treatment, topical anesthetic is not required. A topical skincare product, such as an antioxidant serum, may be applied to each treatment area after the treatment is administered.
  • For Clear + Brilliant® Complete Treatment, your doctor will talk to you about your personalized combination of both treatments.

Clear + Brilliant® is appropriate for anyone looking for healthier-looking skin. Clear + Brilliant® treatments are great for women and men who are looking to help prevent* and fight the early signs of aging or help maintain a youthful appearance. Whether or not you have had a laser skincare procedure before, Clear + Brilliant® is an excellent choice for all skin types, at any age, all year round.

  • If you aren’t quite ready for an invasive skincare treatment, Clear + Brilliant® treatments are a great option to refresh your skin.
  • If you are looking for maintenance in between more significant procedures, Clear + Brilliant® is also a great option to help maintain the results you’ve seen.

Treatment results may become progressive. A few days after the treatment, your skin will start to feel softer, look brighter, and show more even tone. With each successive treatment, the results may become more noticeable. Results have been shown to be maintained for as long as three months but may vary depending on your age, skin condition, and skincare and protection regimen.

Clear + Brilliant® laser treatments are gentle. You may experience mild redness and subtle inflammation immediately after treatment. These generally resolve in 12-24 hours but may last until the following day.

Clear + Brilliant® treatments may be complementary to many cosmetic procedures.** Talk to your doctor to learn more about combining Clear + Brilliant® treatments with other procedures.

A typical Clear + Brilliant® treatment requires about 30 to 45 minutes for a session, which includes time for prep and consultation. We ask that you reserve 1 hour for your appointment.

The number of treatments is tailored to your concerns and skincare desires. In one study, patients reported visible improvements after 4 to 6 treatments, though many patients choose to have routine treatments as part of their overall skincare regimen. Your skincare provider will discuss a personalized treatment regimen that is right for you.

The recommended time between treatments may vary, since everyone’s skin heals differently. Your skincare provider will discuss a personalized treatment regimen with you.

There's minimal downtime after your treatment. You can get back to your routine the same day.

Ask your provider to treat to complete.
